GIRLS ROCK REMIX

Girls Rock is thrilled to announce our first-ever adult program Girls Rock Remix, a condensed weekend version of our annual summer program open to adults 18+.

Bring your instrument, get placed in a band, and write your own original song over the course of the weekend. Campers will have the opportunity to perform for each other on Sunday afternoon and at our upcoming benefit performance!

What Can I Expect?
Campers will be grouped into bands of 3-5, and over the two days, each band will write their own original song working with a Girls Rock band coach.

In addition to band practice, campers will experience a selection of our summer camp activities focused on using creative arts as a vehicle for social change.

Breakfast and lunch will be provided both days!

What's The Schedule?
9:30am:  Wordplay opens, breakfast available

10am: Opening Activity

10:30am - 12pm: Art Activities lead by local artists

12pm - 1pm: Lunch (provided)

1pm- 3pm: Band practice

3 - 3:30pm: Closing Activity

How Much?
Like our summer camp, Remix is priced on a sliding scale of $0-300. Tuition will be used to cover the cost of instruction, and all additional contributions will go toward providing financial assistance for youth enrolled in our summer 2024 summer day camp. Who Can Attend?

Remix is open to all adults 18+! If you love art, music, and want to experience the magic of summer camp Remix is for you! Musicians of all backgrounds, instruments, and skill levels are welcome.

Unlike our summer camp, we are not able to provide individualized instrument instruction, so some familiarity with your instrument is recommended.

Can I Borrow Equipment?
Girls Rock has several instruments you can borrow at no additional cost-- simply make a note in the appropriate section of the application.
